Eastern Washington Tour - Winthrop to Chelan

After surviving yesterdays climb fest today's ride was much more sane. But I choose to kick it up a notch. I got a late start due to the long line at the espresso stand. The woman in front of me bought 6 espresso's for everyone back at the house. So I tucked my bottle of sports drink in my jersey pocket and put the espresso in the bottle cage. After getting caffinated I caught up with the group. I couldn't seem to get happy with any group I was riding with and wanted to go just a bit faster so moved from one group to another. I spent about 20 minutes trying to bridge to the ride leaders tandem but couldn't close the gap since the territory was either flat or down hill.
